What's a "Real Mom" ?

Ever wonder what the definition of a "Real Mom" is?
Well Gavin has the answer....

Gavin had a friend over yesterday and they kept wanting to do things that I dont approve of.. like going to the neighbors house, going outside of our gate, stopping the icecream truck... for the third time. So I kept telling them "no"
Then I overhear them talking in the kitchen, and the little girl says to Gavin, "your mom never lets us do anything." and Gavin's reply was "that because my mom is like a real mom she says no, no, no to everything."
So Moms if you ever say no to your kids... You must be a "real mom"!

Its baby time!!

Baby boy 6lbs 12oz
My Aunt just had her baby June 20, 2008
That means I am next!!!!! I am so ready!
Then after me..... It's your turn Brittany!!
so many babies in so little time... I cant wait.

SUMMER BEGINS

Kayla and Natalie came over and we decided that it would be a good idea to take the kids to the beach. We didn't realize the kids would have so much fun.
They all got in the water! Except poor Natalie who was scared.
Gavin wanted to go out far, but I was too afraid to let him get passed his knees. Every once in a while a few waves would come at the same time and then the water that was at his ankles would be at his waist. I was not about to try to save a life at 7 months pregnant in the ocean! So we made them stay close, they still had fun even though they weren't happy about my water limits.
Gavin screamed "I found a baby turtle!" so of course I run to get the camera while everyone else runs to Gavin to see what he has found. Kayla says "Are you sure?" and Gavin replies with "I saw a shell and a little tail" so they keep digging and..... FINALLY! HE FINDS WHAT HE WAS LOOKING FOR...............................

A good ol' sand crab.... So no turtle after all but they had fun digging for more after they found out how fun that was.
Kalaea was so tired.... I kept trying to get her to lay on the towel, but she wasn't having it. She wanted to lay in the nice warm sand... of course right after she got out of the ocean.
Aniya filling her juice bottle with sand

There is Zae our true surfer boy! What a cutie!

There is Gavin being the goof he is... right after being buried in the sand by the other kids

The kids putting the finishing touches on there project.... Gavin

ALL DONE!! He was supposed to be a mermaid... you can kinda see his tail

They were so exhausted.... this was only minutes after we got it the car.

Niya can't hardly keep her eyes open..

Zae and Natalie were so cute holding hands and leaning on eachother.... Priceless!

And me being the good mother that I am, Ha. Put suncreen on all the kids, but of course forgot to put it on myself and you know how white I am, I got the worst sun burn I have ever gotten. So I guess the beach is out of the question for awhile until I can heal..

We Just had to celebrate!!!!

The boys did such a great job in school, we had to take them for a special treat, so Chuck E. Cheese it is!!
It's not just for the kids cause we always get extra token so Mulek and I can play too. Ha Ha!
I mean we did a great job helping with homework and all that good stuff we deserve to play too.
You know we have to earn the tickets! ;)

Preschool Graduation!

Zae Graduated too!! He got to attend preschool a year early so he will be going back next year too. He loved school!! He never wanted to miss a day, even when he was sick.

Walking in before their performance. He was so excited that we were there to see him!
He was so worried about the balloons that we brought for him, he hardly sang or did anything but ask, "Are those mine, can I have them"
Holding his certificate with teachers.
Zae you are growing up, too. We are so proud of you! You did a great job and school and got to do lots of neat things this year. I hope your love for school will continue through the years!
We love you !!!

KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION...

I cant believe its over already. It seems like yesterday when we brougt Gavin home from the hospital and now he is graduating from Kindergarten. He is getting so big! Here are a few pic from his graduation ceremony.

They are singing a song about fish eating other fish...
This was a play.... I forgot the name of it.... you know the one where the hen does all the hard work to make some bread and no one wants to help so in the end she eats it all to herself... well Gavin and his friend were the dogs and their line was "Not me, I have better things to do, RUFF RUFF!"

We are so proud of you, Gavin! You did such a great job this year in school. You are such a smart and loving boy! We love you so much!!
I cant believe he was brave enough to do this!!
It is so not like Gavin, but he did a great job, he was even louder than the other kid!

Zae's Party.... He's 4

Well its a little late but I am trying to figure this out. As you can see I cant take the underlined off .... as soon as I am done I am sure I will figure it out but for now, I have to hurry, the kids might want dinner sometime this evening.
Well I cant believe Isaiah is four already! We went to the park to celebrate with friends and family. It was such a long day, we were there since 6 in the morning to save a table (cause you cant reserve at this park) and we didnt leave until 5 or 6 in the evening. The kids had lots of fun, there was a brand new playground right next to our pavilion, and it had some pretty cool toys that I have never seen before, ther was this chair that you sit in, and it is tilted just right so when you sit on it and pick your feet up it starts to spin. We all had to try it. I wish I had gotten pictures of all the adults that just had to get on that thing.

Here is Isaiah and Gavin at the top of the tower.

Zae blowing out his candles........... but just before when he was concentrating on our singing.................

He drooled on the cake!!!!
I guess we should have made his finish chewing his candy before he got near the cake..... we will know better next time.
